The Walking Holiday
The best way to explore an area is undoubtedly on foot and the French Alps is no exception. An area of outstanding natural beauty, our walks will take you through forest and meadows, bedecked with wild flowers to high alpine pastures and beyond. Walking guides are available to accompany you on all the walks or if you prefer your own company maps and route cards are available at the chalet. Most people who walk on a regular basis and are of average fitness will be able to cope comfortably. Good footwear and equipment are essential for your comfort and safety. If you would care to experience some high altitude walking we can arrange some spectacular routes in the company of a local qualified mountain guide.
