Chalet Thalassa is a traditional alpine wooden chalet situated on the Avoriaz side of Morzine with fantastic views down the valley to the ski slope at Pleney.

The chalet is based over three floors, with eleven bedrooms, and ten bathrooms, most of which are en-suite. Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided in each room. Bathrobes and hair dryers are also available in the chalet.

The ground floor has three twin en-suite and one double en-suite bedrooms. There is also a sauna, drying room and bar.

The first floor has two double or twin bedrooms with a bathroom together with the lounge and dining room. Access to the terrace and hot tub are on this floor.

The second floor has two twin and one single room with three bathrooms, one family room for up to four people with en-suite, and one double or twin room with own shower room.

Facilities

We have a comfortable lounge with a roaring log fire where you can relax, sharing your tales of ski exploits, quietly read your book, listen to music or watch a DVD on the large flat screen television.

There is an outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna to soothe away any aches and pains as well as a cosy bar area for pre-dinner or après-dinner drinks.

A play station and music system is available for entertainment in the downstairs bar area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the chalet.

We offer ski hire in the chalet and the ski room has a heated boot dryer for those cold winter mornings. Relax in your own chalet whilst your skis and boots are fitted! No more queuing for hours at the ski hire shop!

Our Location

Chalet Thalassa is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Morzine, it has the benefit of being close to all the action whilst being far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. It is between the ski areas of Morzine and Avoriaz so it is only ever a few minutes to the slopes!

We have 2 minibuses at the chalet to provide a courtesy shuttle to and from the slopes each day: we also run a shuttle into town in the evening for shopping or après ski drinks.
